COST Day in South Africa - Launch of the Reciprocal agreement between COST and South Africa

COST concluded a Reciprocal Agreement to foster South Africa-COST interactions in June 2009. The launch event was hosted by ESASTAP - the European South African Science and Technology Advancement Programme.
Under the Reciprocal Agreement, COST will avail funding for European researchers to undertake short-term scientific missions to South Africa, whilst the South African Department of Science and Technology will avail funding to South African researchers undertaking such missions to Europe.
