The November edition of the COST Seminar featured Paul Egerton, Executive Director of the European Polar Board of the European Science Foundation.
He delivered a presentation about the European Polar Board activities, their interaction with COST and the European Commission contracts EUROPOLAR and ERICON. The European Polar Board is Europe’s main strategic forum for science policy issues in the Arctic and Antarctic. The Board is a platform for European engagement in international science programmes and provides strategic science policy advice to the European Commission and international bodies. His presentation was followed by a Questions & Answers session.
