Exploratory workshopsPhysics of Amorphous Solids: Mechanical Properties and PlasticityThe objective of the workshop was to review state-of-the-art research in the fundamental physics of amorphous solids. The event also looked at the mechanical response of amorphous solids to large deformations, including homogeneous yielding via the elasto-plastic transition and flow localisation.
