At the Second World Conference on this topic, a key outcome was the agreement to the Singapore Statement which sets out 4 principles and 14 responsibilities which should be followed by researchers worldwide. Tony Mayer and Professor Nicholas H. Steneck, Co-Chairs of the First and Second World Conferences on Research Integrity, presented the Singapore Statement and Laura Marin, Science Officer at the European Science Foundation, introduced the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity. They discussed how to promote research integrity to the highest level throughout. |
