Training Schools

Among the many opportunities that COST provides for all researchers across Europe, COST Training Schools give young scientists a focused and multi-disciplinary platform to access the highest level of expertise from leaders in their field.

From three days to two weeks long, these workshops are organised by COST Actions to share their knowledge and involve all generations of researchers in their work.

Each participant takes advantage of intensive training on new and emerging subjects, and learns about tomorrow’s avenues of opportunity.

Most importantly, the networks and discussions generated by Training Schools are the basis of future scientific cooperation – and future COST Actions.

How to Participate

COST provides financial support for trainers and trainees to organise and participate in a Training School. COST Actions take the driver’s seat and decide the content and length of their event.

If you are from a COST Action, you should send an application to the COST Office. More details on the documents to be submittted can be found in the Training School section of the Vademecum.
